What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy offers you a rare opportunity to take stock of where you find yourself in life; to review what you want for yourself and to learn what you can and cannot change about it.
Therapy involves a commitment to be willing to explore the rough as well as the smooth, as it might be in the grappling with the toughest parts of your life that gives you the insight you are looking for.
My own personal experience of being in therapy is that it is a shutting out of the day-to-day noise in life. It is precious, protected time for me to collect my thoughts and my sense of myself without distraction. This is what I aim to provide in my practice.
